WhatProject Needs and BeneficiariesFonkoze is committed to accompany Haitian women and their families out of poverty and improve the quality of their life through loans and literacy training. Fonkoze serves women throughout all departments of Haiti, including many difficult to reach rural areas. ActivitiesThree month literacy modules are offered covering basic literacy, business skills, and health education, including disease prevention and HIV/AIDS. Participants learn to read and write while learning ways to improve their businesses and health.
